あらゆるものが共生し、存在しあう豊かな森。私たちには想像し得ない不思議なチカラと深い魅力を秘めたその存在は、古くから人々の想像力を膨らませてきました。そして、神話からおとぎ話に至るまで、様々な物語が生まれました。
本展では、三沢厚彦、マイ・ホグスタッド・グネス、津田直、佐々木愛の各作家が、それぞれの分野である彫刻、映像、写真、インスタレーションにより、体験や記憶、想像の世界を通して「もうひとつの森」を浮かび上がらせます。

A fertile forest is where everything live and exist in harmony with nature. Its existence having unimaginable mysterious power and deep attractiveness has long expanded imagination in people’s minds since ancient times. Many stories, from myths to fairy tales, are said to have originated there.
In this exhibition, each artist, Atsuhiko Misawa, Mai Hofstad Gunnes, Nao Tsuda, and Ai Sasaki unfolds each field of sculpture, video, photograph, and installation, bringing into surface “the Wonder Forest” through each experience, memory, and imagination.
